Just Partners

Flower and I were assigned to assassinate a cat by the name of Tom (heh, Tomcat, joke, uh, yeah) by the end of the week. It only took us a day (obviously). He was supposedly this "master hacker" who would mess up plans of villains worldwide. He was VERY scrawny though. Figures, nerd types almost always are. And as for his "secret base/lair", it was a garage. LITERALLY a garage, it was pathetic. While Flower was all "stealth mode", I just walked up to the door and kicked it down. He fell off his chair and tried to get away. By crawling. It was amusing. I walked towards him, and Flower followed. When I cornered him, he glanced at me, then at Flower. He grinned. "Why are you smiling? We're about to kill you right now you know," I told him with a raised brow. He nodded and laughed, "I know, I know. But it's funny, you guys seem like the perfect couple." I glared at him, "We're just partners." I got out my blaster, aimed at his heart, and pulled the trigger. Even though his end came, he was still smiling. As we walked back to our shuttle, I mumbled to myself, "We're just partners..."
