Boring Quicksand

Well, I'm continually discovering new kinds of quicksands. The sign said 'Boring Quicksand'... which either means that it's simply boring, is in the town of Boring or really is important enough to have its first letter capitalized. Boring has a texture and consistency all its own and maybe an exciting, un-boring discovery is about to be made, here. There's a whole world inside Boring that can absorb you like quicksand swallows you and maybe it all becomes something else. That's why it's a WARNING -because this is really going to take you and there may be something else truly important that needs to be done..... . Indeed, WARNING might apply in 'taking you' like candy, sex, playing on Smartphones and XBox, or sinking deeply into a certain blue quagmire-like credit card like AcidTester was referring to sometime ago.

The experience of Boredom, as many of us know it, is a kind of exhaustion (sometimes quick and sometimes slow/eventual) that comes on a lot when the resource to entertain oneself becomes tired and depleted. It happens a lot to people who feel they have too much to do and who have a weak F/S switch... whether from wearing out or from haywire wiring from early days. If the tee sez F then the S setting may be broken, and if the tee sez S, we may never know.

'Sigh...' that felt good. And, yes, it is a WARNING. WARNING and Boring? Interesting! And we all know what Quicksand is.
